Who is the “Midnight Express”?
Eddie Tolan was nicknamed “Midnight Express” by the press. He won double gold medals, in the 100m and 200m at the 1932 Olympics in Los Angeles. After winning double gold medals, he received the title “world's fastest human”. In his full career as a sprinter, Tolan won 300 races and only lost 7.
